The BIST 100 index, after seeing a low of 7,297.00 and a high of 7,786.37 points, finished the week at 7,705.99 points, losing 0.01 percent in value compared to the previous week's close.
GOLD
The gram selling price of 24-karat bullion gold traded in the Grand Bazaar rose by 1.34 percent this week to 1,821 liras, while the selling price of Republic gold rose by 1.37 percent to 12,238 liras. The selling price of quarter gold, which was 2,958 liras last weekend, rose to 2,993 liras.
FOREIGN EXCHANGE
This week, the US dollar gained 0.79 percent in value to reach 28.4110 liras, and the euro gained 1.95 percent to reach 30.4360 liras.
INVESTMENT FUNDS
Investment funds gained 0.96 percent and individual pension funds gained 0.62 percent this week. When viewed by category, the best-performing investment funds were "Fund Basket" funds with 1.39 percent.
