BIST 100 rises in the first half of the day

The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul rose by 0.62 percent to 7,923.00 points in the first half of the day.

As of 13:00, the index had increased by 48.84 points compared to the previous close. The BIST 100 index, which closed at 7,874.16 points yesterday, started the day at 7,905.35 points with an increase of 1.19 points and 0.40 percent.

During the first half of the day, the index saw a low of 7,950.05 points and a high of 7,950.05 points.

In the first half of the day, the financial index gained 0.64 percent, the services index 0.80 percent, the technology index 0.14 percent, and the industrial index 0.53 percent.

Compared to the previous close, 69 of the stocks included in the BIST 100 index rose in the first half of the day, while 26 lost value. The most actively traded stocks were Ereğli Demir Çelik, Turkish Airlines, Türkiye İş Bankası (C), Akbank, and Yapı ve Kredi Bankası.
