Bloomberg HT has released its market survey regarding the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey’s (CBRT) interest rate decision.
The expectation of the 27 institutions participating in the survey is that the interest rate will increase by 250 basis points to 37.5 percent in November. In the November interest rate survey, the maximum expectation was 40 percent, and the minimum expectation was 37.5 percent.
On the other hand, 25 institutions shared their forecasts for the end of 2023 during this survey period. In the November survey, the expectation for the end of 2023 was 40 percent. The maximum expectation for the end of 2023 was 42.5 percent, while the minimum expectation was 38 percent.
