Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel presided over the Party Assembly (PM) meeting held at the CHP Headquarters. The youngest members of the Party Assembly, Berkay Gezgin and Berna Özgül, sat beside CHP leader Özel.
The Central Executive Board (MYK) and Shadow Cabinet list proposed by CHP leader Özel was approved by the PM during the meeting.
In the 24-member MYK list, where only two names changed, Mehmet Necati Yağcı replaced Volkan Demir, and Namık Tan replaced İlhan Uzgel. Contrary to speculation, Bahadır Erdem and Sezgin Tanrıkulu were not included in the list.
