Türk-İş and Hak-İş have reached an agreement on the collective bargaining contract affecting 600 thousand public workers. A flat-rate increase is being added on top of the 24 percent plus 11 percent offer.

Today, the collective bargaining process affecting approximately 600 thousand public workers was concluded with the Public Framework Protocol signed between the Türk-İş and Hak-İş unions and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

In the negotiations held with the participation of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, the final decision regarding the salary increase offer presented by the government for public workers was made.

24 PERCENT PLUS 11 PERCENT RAISE PACKAGE

The details of the government's offer in the collective bargaining negotiations for 2025 have also been clarified. The offer includes a 24 percent salary increase, as well as an additional 11 percent revision.

On top of this raise, workers will receive a flat-rate increase of 50 TL per day, or 1500 TL per month. This regulation aims to provide more relief to public workers, especially in the face of economic difficulties.

The protocol signing ceremony held today at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security was attended by Türk-İş President Ergün Atalay, Hak-İş President Mahmut Arslan, and Minister Cevdet Yılmaz.

In the final negotiations held by the Türk-İş and Hak-İş unions with employer representatives, a final agreement was reached between the parties, and this agreement will come into effect as of January 1, 2025. With the signing of the documents, the collective bargaining process has been completed.
