BREAKING NEWS... TurkStat announces April inflation data

TurkStat has announced the inflation rate for April. According to the released data, the annual rate was measured at 37.86 percent, while the monthly rate was 3 percent.

The change in the CPI in April 2025 compared to the previous month was an increase of 3.00 percent, an increase of 13.36 percent compared to December of the previous year, and an increase of [percentage] compared to the same month of the previous year.

In March, inflation was 2.46 percent on a monthly basis and 38.10 percent on an annual basis. The twelve-month PPI-CPI change was recorded at 51.26 percent.

ENAG SAYS 73 PERCENT

The independent Inflation Research Group (ENAG), according to the data it released, showed that inflation in April increased by 4.46 percent compared to the previous month. Annual inflation stood at 73.88 percent.

Istanbul inflation, meanwhile, was announced as 3.21 percent on a monthly basis and 47.21 percent on an annual basis in April.
