According to TurkStat's calculations, monthly inflation in April increased by 4.18 percent. On an annual basis, there was an increase of 32.37 percent.
The Inflation Research Group (ENAG) had announced that the ENAGrup Consumer Price Index increased by 5.07 percent in April compared to the previous month, and annual inflation was calculated at 55.38 percent.
The Istanbul Chamber of Commerce had announced that the Wholesale Price Index in April 2026 increased by 3.74 percent monthly and 36.83 percent annually, while data from Anadolu Agency revealed that economists expected the CPI to occur in the range of 2.50–3.60 percent monthly and at the level of 31.11 percent annually.
