A barrel of Brent crude oil is trading at $89.92 in international markets.

After rising to as high as $92.18 on Friday, the price per barrel of Brent crude oil closed the day at $90.45.
As of 09:28 today, the price per barrel of Brent crude oil decreased by 0.58 percent compared to the closing price, reaching $89.92. At the same time, a barrel of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was trading at $85.17.
Increased diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions between Iran and Israel have been effective in the decline of prices.
Oil prices, which recorded their highest level since October on Friday due to expectations that Iran would carry out a retaliatory attack against Israel, fell as supply concerns eased following efforts to mitigate regional tensions.
