The Ministry of Treasury and Finance has announced the central government budget figures for February.
According to the data, budget revenues in February increased by 34.9 percent compared to the same month last year, reaching 723 billion 425 million liras, while budget expenditures rose by 49.8 percent to 1 trillion 33 billion 517 million liras. During this period, the budget deficit was 310.1 billion liras.
DEFICIT IN THE JANUARY-FEBRUARY PERIOD IS 449.4 BILLION LIRAS
On the other hand, in the two-month period covering January and February, central government budget expenditures reached 2 trillion 89.9 billion liras, while budget revenues were 1 trillion 640.5 billion TL. During this period, the budget deficit amounted to 449.4 billion TL.
