Car ferry fares increased in İzmir

A price hike has been implemented for the fare schedule of car ferries operated by the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality's İZDENİZ General Directorate. It has been learned that the increased fares, decided by the Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME), will be effective starting Thursday, November 7. 

It was also learned that, under the instruction of İzmir Metropolitan Mayor Cemil Tugay, automobiles will be able to benefit from a discounted fare during certain hours on weekdays.

In line with the decision taken by UKOME, the boarding fees in the new tariff will be as follows: 

Motorcycle: 50 TL

Automobile: 160 TL

Mid-size vehicle: 300 TL

Bus-Truck: 700 TL

Semi-trailer truck: 1000 TL

'DISCOUNT TO BE APPLIED FOR AUTOMOBILES' 

There will also be a discount application for automobiles in the new tariff. Under the instruction of İzmir Metropolitan Mayor Cemil Tugay, there will be a 20 TL discount for automobiles on weekdays between 10:00-15:40 and 21:00-23:00. Automobiles wishing to use the car ferry during these hours will pay a fee of 140 TL. 

The application will not be valid on weekends, public holidays, and official holidays.
