Central Bank reserves continue to decline

The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) decreased by 4 billion 53 million dollars in the week of March 22 compared to the previous week, falling to 123 billion 844 million dollars.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) has released its weekly money and banking statistics.

Accordingly, as of March 22, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves fell by 4 billion 210 million dollars to 70 billion 681 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves stood at 74 billion 891 million dollars on March 15.

During this period, gold reserves increased by 157 million dollars, rising from 53 billion 6 million dollars to 53 billion 163 million dollars.

The Central Bank's total reserves decreased by 4 billion 53 million dollars in the week of March 22 compared to the previous week, falling from 127 billion 897 million dollars to 123 billion 844 million dollars.
