Central Bank reserves decline

The Central Bank's total reserves fell by 5 billion 899 million dollars to 148 billion 11 million dollars in the week of July 26 compared to the previous week.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) has announced its weekly money and banking statistics.

Accordingly, as of July 26, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by 2 billion 788 million dollars to 91 billion 907 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves stood at 94 billion 695 million dollars on July 19.

During this period, gold reserves fell by 3 billion 110 million dollars, from 59 billion 214 million dollars to 56 billion 104 million dollars.

Thus, the Central Bank's total reserves decreased by 5 billion 899 million dollars in the week of July 26 compared to the previous week, falling from 153 billion 910 million dollars to 148 billion 11 million dollars.
