Central Bank reserves increase

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) has announced its weekly money and banking statistics.

Accordingly, as of August 16, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves increased by 1 billion 816 million dollars to 94 billion 146 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves stood at 92 billion 330 million dollars on August 9.

During this period, gold reserves increased by 866 million dollars, rising from 57 billion 903 million dollars to 58 billion 769 million dollars.

Thus, the Central Bank's total reserves increased by 2 billion 682 million dollars in the week of August 16 compared to the previous week, rising from 150 billion 233 million dollars to 152 billion 915 million dollars.
