Central Bank reserves melt by 4.3 billion dollars

The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) decreased by 4 billion 392 million dollars in the week of December 29 compared to the previous week, falling to 141 billion 61 million dollars.

TCMB has published the Weekly Money and Bank Statistics.

Accordingly, as of December 29, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves decreased by 4 billion 727 million dollars to 92 billion 830 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of 97 billion 557 million dollars on December 22.

In the same period, gold reserves increased by 335 million dollars, rising from 47 billion 896 million dollars to 48 billion 231 million dollars.

The Central Bank's total reserves fell by 4 billion 392 million dollars in the week of December 29 compared to the previous week, dropping from 145 billion 453 million dollars to 141 billion 61 million dollars.
