Central Bank's gross reserves hit a record high

The Central Bank's total reserves reached an all-time high in the week of July 5, increasing by 5 billion 538 million dollars compared to the previous week to reach 148 billion 448 million dollars.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) has announced its weekly money and banking statistics.

Accordingly, as of July 5, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves increased by 4 billion 898 million dollars to 89 billion 731 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves stood at 84 billion 833 million dollars on June 28.

During this period, gold reserves also rose by 640 million dollars, from 58 billion 77 million dollars to 58 billion 717 million dollars.

Thus, the Central Bank's total reserves increased by 5 billion 538 million dollars in the week of July 5 compared to the previous week, rising from 142 billion 910 million dollars to 148 billion 448 million dollars.
