Change in olive oil analysis method
According to the communiqué published in the Official Gazette, regulations have been made regarding the analysis methods for olive oil and pomace oil.

Regulations have been made for the analysis methods of olive oil and pomace oil within the framework of European Union (EU) standards.
The "Turkish Food Codex Communiqué on Analysis Methods for Olive Oil and Pomace Oil" by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has been published in the Official Gazette and has entered into force.
Accordingly, Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/2105 of 29 July 2022 on conformity checks of marketing standards for olive oil and on methods of analysis for olive oil was taken into account in the analysis method for olive oil and pomace oil.
Institutions and organizations currently operating and conducting food analysis for official controls within the scope of the communiqué have been granted a compliance period until 1 June 2024.
The Turkish Food Codex Communiqué on Analysis Methods for Olive Oil and Pomace Oil (Communiqué No: 2014/53), published in the Official Gazette dated 20 November 2014 and numbered 29181, has been repealed.
