The news of the hike was announced by Erol Dündar, President of the Monopoly Dealers Solidarity Association.

Sharing the news on his X account, Dündar stated, "Best of luck, a price hike has arrived for cigarettes."

With the latest hike, the cheapest cigarette in the PM group, which includes Parliament and Marlboro, has become 72 TL, while the most expensive has reached 81 TL.
