CMB approves capital increases for 2 companies

According to the CMB bulletin, the board has approved the bonus capital increase applications of Europower Enerji ve Otomasyon Teknolojileri Sanayi Ticaret AŞ for 440 million liras and Pasifik Eurasia Lojistik Dış Ticaret AŞ for 504 million liras.

The board approved the debt instrument issuance applications of Shell & Turcas Petrol AŞ for 9 billion liras, Ziraat Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı AŞ for 4 billion liras, Akbank TAŞ for 40 billion liras and 5 billion dollars, and Türkiye Sınai Kalkınma Bankası AŞ for 1 billion dollars.

The issuance of lease certificates based on management contracts for 3 billion liras each by Nurol Varlık Kiralama AŞ, Değer Varlık Kiralama AŞ, and ZKB Varlık Kiralama AŞ, and for 10 billion liras by Halk Varlık Kiralama AŞ were approved.

Furthermore, the requests for the establishment of Natura Gayrimenkul ve Girişim Sermayesi Portföy Yönetimi AŞ First Project Real Estate Investment Fund and Natura Gayrimenkul ve Girişim Sermayesi Portföy Yönetimi AŞ Second Project Real Estate Investment Fund were approved.

The board decided to approve the requests for the establishment of Nurol Portföy Yönetimi AŞ Eighth Real Estate Investment Fund, Nurol Portföy Yönetimi AŞ Ninth Real Estate Investment Fund, and Nurol Portföy Yönetimi AŞ Nufon Real Estate Investment Fund, as well as the approval of the issuance documents regarding the issuance of participation shares.

ADMINISTRATIVE FINES

Following an investigation into Inveo Portföy Yönetimi AŞ, the CMB decided to impose an administrative fine of 1 million 575 thousand 108 liras on the company on the grounds that the portfolio of the investment fund, for which it is the founder and manager, was managed in a manner inconsistent with the fund's title.

The board imposed a total of 58 million 835 thousand 609 liras in administrative fines on 23 individuals following an investigation into transactions carried out in the equity market of Anadolu Isuzu Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ.

Additionally, following an investigation into transactions carried out in the equity markets of Türk Hava Yolları Anonim Ortaklığı, DO & CO Aktiengesellschaft, Pegasus Hava Taşımacılığı AŞ, Vakko Tekstil ve Hazır Giyim Sanayi İşletmeleri AŞ, Ford Otomotiv Sanayi AŞ, Aksa Enerji Üretim AŞ, and Petkim Petrokimya Holding AŞ, it was decided to impose an administrative fine of 6 million 658 thousand 688 liras on one individual.

The board imposed administrative fines totaling 52 million 503 thousand 606 liras on 13 legal entities for acting as intermediaries in transactions contrary to the short-selling ban in Borsa İstanbul AŞ equity markets.

Furthermore, it was decided to impose administrative fines totaling 103 million 62 thousand 634 liras on 53 legal entities for acting as intermediaries in transactions contrary to the deposit requirement measure in Borsa İstanbul AŞ equity markets.

Following its investigations, the CMB decided to file a criminal complaint against 1 person for engaging in unauthorized capital market activities.

On the other hand, it was decided to initiate the necessary legal proceedings to block access to 50 websites determined to be facilitating leveraged trading abroad for residents in Turkey via the internet.
