Critical change at the CMB: Four officials dismissed
A comprehensive change in duties covering the senior management of the Capital Markets Board (CMB) has been implemented. While the duties of Vice Chairman Ender Kurtulan and three department heads were terminated, the new areas of responsibility for some individuals have also been clarified.

Senior-level changes have been implemented at the Capital Markets Board (CMB), one of the most important regulatory institutions of the capital markets. With the reorganization in the institution's management tier, the individuals serving in vice chairmanship and critical department head positions have been changed.
It has been learned that within the scope of the changes, one vice chairman and three department heads were dismissed.
FOUR SENIOR OFFICIALS DISMISSED
Within the framework of the changes at the CMB, the duties of Vice Chairman Ender Kurtulan were terminated.
In the same scope, Head of Partnerships Finance Department Kürşat Babuşçu, Head of Market Surveillance Department Ercan Urkan, and Head of Intermediary Activities Department Aşkın Alıcı were also dismissed.
Thus, a total of four senior officials serving in critical units of the institution have left their posts.
NEW ROLE FOR AŞKIN ALICI
One of the notable appointments following the change in duties involved Aşkın Alıcı.
According to the information obtained, it has been learned that Aşkın Alıcı, who was removed from his position as Head of the Intermediary Activities Department, will be appointed as an Advisor to the CMB Chairman.
It was stated that with this change, Alıcı will continue to serve in a different position within the institution.
Within the scope of the regulations made, changes were also made to the areas of responsibility of some managers.
Accordingly, it was stated that Mustafa Eken will be responsible for the Partnerships Finance Department in addition to his current responsibility for the Participation Finance Department.
With this change, Eken's scope of duty and authority has been expanded.
