Silver is back in focus, especially following the precious metal sell-offs seen in recent weeks. According to analysts, the $56-$57 level for an ounce of silver stands out as a strong support point, while a breakout above the $59 band could signal a new rally.
In international markets, as of 10:00 AM, an ounce of silver was trading at $59.04. At the same time, in domestic markets, gram silver rose by 1.27 percent to 90.10 TL. Thus, the upward movement in silver is drawing attention both globally and in Turkey.
Levels highlighted in technical analysis are of vital importance for investors. Experts emphasize that if the price falls below the $56-$57 band, pressure will increase, and there is a risk of a pullback to the $51-$52 range. However, if prices hold above this level, the rally is expected to continue.
Another level that analysts are closely monitoring is the $59 resistance. It is stated that if the price exceeds this point, the rally could gain momentum, with the $61-$62 range being targeted. A permanent breakout at this threshold could trigger new volatility in the market.
On the gold front, prices remain under pressure due to the strong dollar index and developments in bond yields. Technical analysis shows that the $4,020-$4,040 range is the support zone for an ounce of gold; if it falls below this level, a pullback to $3,930-$3,950 could occur. Sustaining a position above $4,100 could pave the way for a new rally in gold, with the $4,180-$4,200 levels potentially coming onto the agenda as new targets.
Experts point out that a new and decisive economic or geopolitical development could change the course of both the gold and silver markets. While prices are currently showing a constrained movement, it is anticipated that sharp changes in direction are possible with a strong flow of news. The $56-$57 band remains under close watch by investors as the support level for silver, with $59 serving as the resistance level.
