A citizen living in the Arsin district of Trabzon lost 13 thousand 430 dollars worth of crypto assets to scammers who introduced themselves as investment consultants. Police are on the trail of the scammers.

Trabzon's Arsin district resident A.K. became the victim of a scammer who introduced himself as an investment consultant. After the scammer told A.K. that "the cryptocurrency account held at the Paribu exchange was not secure," A.K. transferred 13 thousand 430 dollars worth of crypto assets to the account provided by the suspect.
According to the report in Webtekno, A.K. called the individual to confirm that the transaction was complete, but realized he had been scammed when he could not reach the person. He then went to the police station to file a complaint.
Law enforcement authorities, who have launched an investigation into the incident, have begun efforts to identify and apprehend the scammer.
