With the arrival of October, the daily cash withdrawal limits applied by banks at ATMs have come to the fore once again. While standard free withdrawal limits for card transactions at public and private banks in Turkey vary from bank to bank, transactions made via QR code at some banks can increase the total withdrawal amount.
According to current practices, daily ATM withdrawal limits generally fall within the range of 10,000 TL to 60,000 TL. Limits may vary depending on the card type, customer segment, transaction channel, and the bank's own policies.

A significant portion of banks offer the option to withdraw cash via QR code through mobile banking in addition to withdrawals made with a physical card. This method can provide customers with additional cash withdrawal capacity once the card limit has been reached.
Customers who wish to withdraw cash above the daily limit may face commissions. It is recommended that those with high-amount cash needs check their bank's current fee schedule before the transaction or conduct the transaction at a branch.
Limits and fee conditions at shared ATM networks and ATMs located inside branches may also differ from those at standard street ATMs. Therefore, the channel used for the transaction can be a determining factor in terms of total cost and the amount that can be withdrawn.
Globally, cash withdrawal practices vary by country. It is known that in Ukraine, the Central Bank maintains a daily cash withdrawal limit due to war conditions, while also allowing commercial banks to set their own transaction limits.
