A Presidential decree regarding the rescheduling of installment payments for those indebted to tax offices in Adıyaman, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, and Malatya, as well as the İslahiye and Nurdağı districts of Gaziantep—where the force majeure status declared due to the February 6 Kahramanmaraş earthquakes remains in effect—has been published in the Official Gazette.

INSTALLMENT PAYMENT PERIOD EXTENDED BY 12 MONTHS

According to the decree, for those indebted to tax offices in the specified locations, the payment period for the first installment of debts that were due between February 6, 2023, and November 30, 2024, under the relevant laws (including those whose final payment date falls on the date the force majeure status ends) has been extended to the month following the end of the force majeure status, with subsequent installments to be paid in monthly periods thereafter, up to a maximum of 12 months.

Furthermore, the decree states that in cases where the number of installments falling between the start and end dates of the force majeure status exceeds 12, the excess installments will be paid along with the 12th installment.
