Borsa Istanbul opens the day with a decline on December 27, 2023

The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul started the day with a 0.23 percent decline at 7,282.21 points.

At the opening, the BIST 100 index fell by 17.13 points, or 0.23 percent, compared to the previous close, down to 7,282.21 points.

The banking index recorded a decrease of 0.4 percent, while the holding index fell by 0.54 percent. Among sector indices, tourism was the top gainer with 1.49 percent, while construction was the biggest decliner with 1.46 percent.

Yesterday, the BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul followed a buying-weighted trend and completed the day with a 0.47 percent gain at 7,299.33 points.
