Decline in Central Bank reserves

The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) fell by 2 billion 162 million dollars to 126 billion 284 million dollars in the week of April 19 compared to the previous week.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) has announced its weekly money and banking statistics.

Accordingly, as of April 19, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves fell by 2 billion 989 million dollars to 67 billion 11 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves stood at the 70 billion dollar level on April 9.

During this period, gold reserves increased by 827 million dollars, rising from 58 billion 446 million dollars to 59 billion 273 million dollars.

Thus, the Central Bank's total reserves decreased by 2 billion 162 million dollars in the week of April 19 compared to the previous week, falling from 128 billion 446 million dollars to 126 billion 284 million dollars.
