Details of phone and computer support for students have been announced
Details regarding the application requirements and evaluation process for providing technological device and internet support to higher education students have been announced. Desktop computers, tablets, or mobile phones will be provided to young people. Open education university students will also benefit from this right.

The Communiqué on Providing Technological Device and Internet Support to Higher Education Students by the Ministry of Youth and Sports has been published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, the ministry will provide support covering 44.44% of the mobile phone sales price and 16.66% of the computer device price to students.
HOW TO APPLY?
To benefit from computer, mobile phone, and internet support, students will apply through the Ministry of Youth and Sports' information system. Students will be able to benefit from this service on a one-time basis.
WHO CAN APPLY?
The application requirements were also included in the communiqué. Applicants must not have turned 26 as of the date of purchase. Additionally, for technological device support applications, it is a condition that the final sales price of the computer or mobile phone, including taxes, must be less than 9,500 Turkish Liras.
There are also requirements such as the device invoice being issued in the student's name, including their Turkish ID number, and the bank IBAN number and phone line belonging to the student.
INTERNET SUPPORT
Internet support will be limited to one line. It will be provided as 10 GB per month for two months, totaling 120 GB annually. Unused internet support cannot be carried over to the next month. If the student's number is ported to another mobile network operator, the support in question will be terminated.
