The 49-page MASAK report prepared during the investigation into the Dilan Polat and Engin Polat couple was announced by CNN TÜRK Istanbul News Manager Nihat Uludağ.

In the 49-page MASAK report, it was determined that the amount of money entering the accounts of companies established by Dilan Polat and her husband Engin Polat, as well as those set up under the names of their relatives, reached 500 million TL.

The statements made by CNN TÜRK Istanbul News Manager Nihat Uludağ are as follows:

"A MONEY FLOW OF OVER 500 MILLION LIRA HAS BEEN DETECTED"

Uludağ's statements are as follows:

“There is a 49-page study by MASAK regarding Dilan and Engin Polat's companies. We had previously stated that there was an 8-page preliminary report when the investigation began. We said there was an 8-page report and the investigation started with that, but we understand from this that MASAK has completed that report and submitted it to the prosecutor's office. Therefore, in the 49-page MASAK report, a money flow of over 500 million lira is detected in the companies of the Dilan and Engin Polat couple. Engin Polat and Dilan Polat are the 2 main names in this investigation. Another important name is Sezgin Polat, who is Engin Polat's father, and there is another important name, Sıla Doğu. Sıla Doğu is Dilan Polat's sister. These are the most important names among those detained and arrested within the scope of this investigation.

"THEY HAVE NO EMPLOYEES, THEY HAVE NO TAX RECORDS, BUT..."

According to the MASAK report; First, there is a group of shell companies that were established. These are companies set up under the names of acquaintances or friends and family. Actually, when you look at them, they have no employees, they have no tax records, but somehow these are firms that can issue purchase invoices up to 233 million lira. Purchase invoices are issued, and then we see that those firms are closed. Later, there are beauty centers established in many provinces of Turkey. There are many firms established related to cosmetics and women's creams. Transactions are made regarding their sales, and these sales are generally made via the internet and sales websites. Later, that money goes to the Polat group of companies, which consists of 5 separate companies. Rise And Shine, Dilan Polat Beauty Centers, DP Beauty, DLN Polat Cosmetics, and DPOLAT Beauty Center.

"MASAK HAS CONDUCTED A VERY INTERESTING STUDY"

After all those transactions, all the money from the banks comes to these 5 companies. Later, people who have close kinship relations with Engin Polat and Dilan Polat either withdraw 250 million lira of this money in cash or distribute the money they received via wire transfer. A significant portion of this share is either deposited directly into Engin Polat's account or transferred to his account. We are talking about 250 million lira. The place where that money is primarily collected is the Milda Real Estate Automotive Company. This is the main firm where Engin Polat is the sole manager, the main administrator, and where all assets are collected. The money collected in the Milda Real Estate Automotive Company was then used to purchase vehicles, some of which were seized during the operation. There were very flashy vehicles, each worth 30-40 million. Well, 24 vehicles were bought with a portion of that money. 15 pieces of real estate were bought with the rest. One of these is the luxury villa in Çekmeköy where the couple lived, there is another luxury villa bought in Tuzla, and 15 pieces of real estate have been added here. Thus, the companies established, the fake invoices issued, and the subsequently collected money are gathered in 5 companies, and from there, it is withdrawn as cash. The money is distributed in cash. Everyone gets a share for themselves, but the main money comes to the Milda Real Estate Company. Here, MASAK has actually conducted a very interesting study.

"THE EVENT THAT CAUGHT MY ATTENTION THE MOST IN THE REPORT..."

The event that caught my attention the most in this report is where it questions the reality of sales on internet channels. Those cosmetic products and products in other beauty centers. It says that due to suspicions of credit card fraud, illegal betting, and similar activities through POS terminals obtained on behalf of related institutions, the suspicions regarding these transactions will be revealed through a more technical investigation. What do I understand from this; when you look at the total, there is a transaction volume of over 500 million lira related to the sale of those cosmetic products and other products. The main issue here is this: cosmetic products are being sold via the banking system, but how much of those sales are real sales? The report says that suspicious individuals involved in credit card fraud have made transactions, meaning that money stolen from others may have been transferred here. You are making transactions with stolen credit cards belonging to others, but there are no products purchased, etc. This is the point that needs to be investigated.”
