The discounts implemented following the decline in Brent crude oil prices were short-lived; fuel prices are rising once again.

According to information reported by Türkiye Gazetesi, a new price hike for diesel is on the horizon.

Starting Wednesday, April 23, there will be a 98 kuruş increase in the price per liter of diesel.

With this increase, the price per liter of diesel will rise to the range of 45 to 46 liras, though it will vary from city to city.

WHAT WILL THE PRICES BE AFTER THE HIKE?

With the implemented hike, the price per liter of diesel will rise to approximately 45.36 TL in Istanbul, 46.17 TL in Ankara, and 46.50 TL in Izmir.

On the other hand, the price per liter of gasoline is currently at the levels of 45.16 TL in Istanbul, 45.75 TL in Ankara, and 46.12 TL in Izmir.
