Double price hike for fuel at midnight

The rise in global oil prices has been reflected in fuel prices. As of midnight, diesel increased by 2.28 TL and gasoline by 0.95 TL.

The fragile ceasefire process between the US and Iran and disruptions to shipments in the Strait of Hormuz continue to push oil prices upward. This rise in the global market has been reflected in domestic fuel prices as a hike.

Effective from midnight, the price per liter of diesel was increased by 2 lira and 28 kuruş, and the price per liter of gasoline by 95 kuruş.

Following the hike, prices in major cities reached notable levels. While diesel rose to 71.66 TL in Istanbul, it reached 72.70 TL in Ankara and 73.08 TL in Izmir. In eastern provinces, the price per liter of diesel rose as high as 74.48 TL.

A similar increase was observed in gasoline prices. The price of gasoline, which rose to 63.77 TL per liter in Istanbul, reached 64.68 TL in Ankara, 64.96 TL in Izmir, and 66.30 TL in eastern provinces.
