Economic bottleneck signals! TurkStat announced vehicle sales statistics: First housing, now vehicles!

The Turkish Statistical Institute has published the Motor Land Vehicles Report for October. According to the report, while 184,767 vehicles were registered in October, the number of vehicles decreased by 7 percent compared to the previous month.

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) has published the Motor Land Vehicles Report for October. 

Of the 184,767 vehicles registered in October, 44.0% were motorcycles, 40.9% were cars, 8.4% were light trucks, 3.8% were tractors, 1.8% were trucks, 0.7% were minibuses, 0.3% were buses, and 0.1% were special-purpose vehicles.

DECREASED BY 7 PERCENT

In October, the number of vehicles registered to traffic increased by 4.1% for minibuses and 2.5% for cars compared to the previous month, while it decreased by 14.1% for motorcycles, 11.1% for light trucks, 11.1% for special-purpose vehicles, 6.0% for tractors, 2.2% for buses, and 1.1% for trucks.

HOUSING SALES HAD ALSO FALLEN

In a statement made by TurkStat in recent days, it was reported that housing sales in October had fallen by 8.7 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
