The ENAG Consumer Price Index (E-CPI) increased by 3.47% in August. The 12-month increase in the E-CPI was recorded at 90.35%. The 12-month increase in the E-CPI was recorded at 90.35%.
PRODUCT GROUPS WITH THE HIGHEST PRICE INCREASES
According to calculations made by ENAG, the highest price increase in August occurred in the "housing" category. This category was followed by 'household goods' and 'clothing and footwear' expenditures.
Official inflation data will be announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute today at 10:00 AM.
Economists participating in the AA Finance Inflation Expectation Survey estimate that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.64% in August.
According to the average of economists' inflation expectations for August, annual inflation, which was 61.78% the previous month, is projected to fall to 52.20%.
