ENAG releases June inflation report

The Inflation Research Group (ENAG) has released its inflation data for June. Monthly inflation was measured at 3.05 percent, while annual inflation fell to 68.68 percent.

The Inflation Research Group (ENAG), composed of independent academics, has published its inflation data for June 2025. According to ENAG, the Consumer Price Index (E-TÜFE) increased by 3.05 percent in June compared to the previous month. Annual inflation was calculated at 68.68 percent.

In May, ENAG had reported monthly inflation at 3.66 percent and annual inflation at 71.23 percent. With the June data, a partial decline in annual inflation was observed.

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) last released its April data on May 5. According to the institute, monthly inflation in April was 3 percent, and annual inflation was at the 37.86 percent level. TÜİK is expected to release its June data on July 3.

According to the June inflation expectation survey conducted by Anadolu Agency Finance, economists' estimates ranged between 1.30 and 2 percent monthly. The average expectation stood at 1.53 percent.

On an annual basis, inflation, which was 35.41 percent the previous month, is projected to fall to 35.26 percent in June.
