Energy projects to be subject to urgent expropriation

Presidential decrees regarding the matter have been published in the Official Gazette.

Accordingly, certain properties will be expropriated by the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEİAŞ) for the construction of energy transmission lines specified in the decree, including the 154 kV G4-Viranşehir 2 Solar Power Plant (GES) TM-Dikmen TM Energy Transmission Line, the 154 kV Çivril GES TM-Çivril TM Energy Transmission Line, the 154 kV G4-Viranşehir 4 GES TM-Kırlık TM Energy Transmission Line, the 400/154 kV Bayramiç Basin TM Site and Connection Road Route Project, and the 154 kV Atares-2 WPP TM-(Bandırma WPP TM-Akçalar TM) Junction Point Energy Transmission Line Project.

Furthermore, it has been decided that the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) will carry out urgent expropriations for the following: certain properties needed for the construction of the Gökbel I-II HEPP Auxiliary Source GES Electricity Generation Facility to be established in Burdur; the Auxiliary Source GES for the Taşpınar WPP Generation Facility to be established in Bursa; Natural Gas Distribution Facilities planned to be established in the Central and Almus districts of Tokat; the property with parcel numbers 197 and 376 within the borders of Yeşildurak Village for the construction of Natural Gas Distribution Facilities planned in the Diyadin district of Ağrı; the property with parcel number 6 within the borders of Uzunkeli Neighborhood for the construction of the RMS-A City Entrance Station Natural Gas Distribution Facility to be established in the Kumlu district of Hatay; certain properties in Aydın and Denizli for the construction of the Hacıhıdırlar WPP Electricity Generation Facility; certain properties required for the capacity increase of the Tatlıpınar WPP Electricity Generation Facility in Balıkesir; certain properties required for the Karatepe WPP Auxiliary Source GES Electricity Generation Facility and the Harmancık WPP Electricity Generation Facility to be established in Çanakkale; and certain properties in Rize for the construction of the Çayhan 1 Regulator and HEPP Electricity Generation Facility.

In addition, certain properties needed to continue mining production subject to the license in the IV. Group Mining (Iron) operation licensed field numbered S:361 in Sivas will be urgently expropriated by the General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs, and certain properties needed for the continuation of asphaltite production activities in the field with license number S:88020 located in the Silopi district of Şırnak, which is under the authority of the Turkish Coal Enterprises (TKİ) General Directorate, will be urgently expropriated by the Turkish Coal Enterprises General Directorate.

On the other hand, properties falling on the route designated for the realization of the Ordu-Fatsa Natural Gas Pipeline Project, as well as properties needed for the construction of fixed facilities, access roads, energy transmission lines, cathodic protection lines, and anode beds to be built within the scope of the project, will be urgently expropriated by the Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) General Directorate.
