Erdoğan gives clear answer to 'Will there be a mid-year minimum wage hike?' question: 'I already said it'

Responding to questions from journalists after the AKP's parliamentary group meeting, President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan gave a short and clear answer to the question of whether there would be a mid-year minimum wage hike, saying, "I already said it."
In his speech at the meeting, Erdoğan stated that there has been a significant increase in the purchasing power of the minimum wage since 2002. Noting that the amount of diesel that could be purchased with the minimum wage rose from 290 liters in 2015 to 445 liters today, Erdoğan said they are aware of the difficulties caused by the cost of living and are implementing a successful economic program to find a solution.
Erdoğan had used the following expressions regarding the minimum wage at his party's group meeting:
"We increased this to 290 liters in 2015. Today, exactly 445 liters of diesel can be purchased with the minimum wage. A citizen earning the minimum wage can fill their car's tank 10 times a month. The same ratios apply to comparisons made in dollar terms.
As in every field, there is a significant improvement in the purchasing power of the minimum wage compared to 2002.
But this, of course, does not mean that everything is perfect. We are aware of every kind of difficulty stemming from the cost of living. We are implementing a successful economic program to find a solution to this."
