Erdoğan had announced it as '3,000 TL': Expert claims a raise is coming for retiree bonuses!

Prof. Dr. Aziz Çelik has claimed that the retiree bonus, which was set at 3,000 TL, will be increased before the elections.

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in his speech at the Ordu rally, announced that the holiday bonus, which millions of retirees have been eagerly awaiting, would be 3,000 TL.

Following Erdoğan's statements, the amount of the retiree holiday bonus will also be increased in the draft law known in the public eye as the 8th Judicial Package, which includes amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code and certain other laws, as well as Decree-Law No. 659.

The holiday bonus amount, which was paid at 2,000 TL, will rise to 3,000 TL.

AZİZ ÇELİK'S CLAIM OF A RAISE FOR RETIREE BONUSES

Following the setting of the retiree bonus at 3,000 TL, Prof. Dr. Aziz Çelik made a striking claim on his personal social media account.

Çelik suggested that the retiree bonus would be increased to at least around 4,000 TL before the elections.

Stating, "If I have learned even a little bit of 'AKP Language and Literature' in these 22 years, the retiree holiday bonus, which was announced as 3,000 liras, will be increased to at least 4,000 liras before the elections," Çelik added, "They will give a new 'good news' announcement saying 'We increased it by 100 percent!'" he said.

Çelik's post is as follows;

"We have seen many of their U-turns before:

First, they encouraged subcontracted labor. Then, due to the backlash, they brought a significant portion of them into permanent staff positions  (2018).

Regarding the  Retirement Age Victims (EYT) law, they said, "It won't happen  even if we lose the election." Then, a month or two before the election, they passed the EYT law (2023).

They said, "The 5,000 TL retiree bonus will not be given to working retirees." Then, a few weeks later, they made a U-turn (2023).

They first said a 42.6 percent raise for worker and tradesman retirees. Then, due to the reaction, they made it 49.25 percent (2024).

Oh, the power of the ballot box!

There is an election on March 31! They will increase the 3,000 TL.
