The US Federal Reserve (Fed) kept its policy interest rate unchanged, holding it steady at the 5.25-5.50 percent range, the highest level in 22 years. Following this decision by the Fed, which was in line with expectations, the dollar started the day at 28.3380 Lira and the Euro at 30.0330 Lira in the Istanbul free market.
In the free market, the dollar is being bought at 28.3360 Lira and sold at 28.3380 Lira. The selling price of the Euro, which is being bought at 30.0310 Lira, has been set at 30.0330 Lira.
Yesterday, the selling price of the dollar was 28.3300 Lira, and the selling price of the Euro was 29.9100 Lira.
