Expected discount on diesel arrives: New prices announced
The price per liter of diesel dropped by 5.57 TL as of midnight. While there was no change in gasoline, the new prices have been updated in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir.

A discount on fuel prices affecting the diesel group has come into effect. With the adjustment reflected at the pump as of midnight, there was a decrease of 5 lira and 57 kurus in the price per liter of diesel.
Following the discount, the price per liter of diesel fell to 90.86 TL in Istanbul, 91.87 TL in Ankara, and 92.26 TL in Izmir. No changes were made to gasoline prices.
According to current prices, the price of a liter of gasoline in Istanbul is 80.40 TL, and LPG is 34.99 TL. In Ankara, gasoline is 81.30 TL and LPG is 35.09 TL; in Izmir, gasoline is 81.60 TL and LPG is 34.99 TL.

HOW ARE FUEL PRICES CALCULATED?
It is stated that the decline in international oil and product prices is effective in the drop in diesel prices. The volatility in oil markets is reflected in pump prices in Turkey along with exchange rate and tax items.
When determining fuel prices in Turkey, international product prices and the dollar/TL exchange rate are taken as a basis. The final pump price at stations is formed by adding the Special Consumption Tax (ÖTV), EMRA (EPDK) share, VAT, and other costs to the duty-free refinery price.
