Famous whiskey brand raises prices

According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), monthly inflation in June was 1.37 percent. While annual inflation fell to 35.05 percent, the cumulative increase for the first six months of the year was 16.67 percent.

Following these developments, the Revenue Administration (GİB) announced that the special consumption tax (ÖTV) amounts applied to fuel, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products have been increased by 15.71 percent, in line with the domestic producer price index (Yİ-ÜFE).

Following the price hike decision, Erol Dündar, President of the Monopoly Dealers Solidarity Association (TBYD), announced in a post on his social media account X that a price increase has also been applied to the Jack Daniel’s whiskey group. According to Dündar’s announcement, the new sales prices for Jack Daniel’s products after the hike are as follows:

• Jack Daniel’s Old No.7 – 50 cl – 1,225 lira
• Jack Daniel’s Old No.7 – 70 cl – 1,595 lira
• Jack Daniel’s Old No.7 – 100 cl – 2 thousand 195 lira
• Jack Daniel’s Old No.7 – 175 cl – 3 thousand 800 lira
• Jack Daniel’s Old No.7 – 300 cl – 7 thousand 250 lira
• Jack Daniel’s Honey / Apple / Fire – 35 cl – 885 lira
