Journalist Fatih Altaylı has put forward a much-discussed claim regarding TRT's land in Ulus, which overlooks the Bosphorus.

In an article published on his own website, Altaylı stated that the land in Ulus, which was evacuated due to earthquake risk, is being prepared for sale.

Altaylı said, "I wrote about this quite a while ago. I said, 'This government will sell TRT's massive land in Ulus overlooking the Bosphorus.' Not only did my writing not receive much attention, but I also became a target for criticism from government supporters. As time passed, my point began to be proven correct."

"THERE IS NO MORE 'PRIME' LAND THAN THIS IN TURKEY"

Announcing that TRT will move to a military site in Çekmeköy, Altaylı stated, "It will be saved from paying rent to our Qatari 'brothers.' It is said that the massive land in Ulus with a Bosphorus view is being prepared for sale. It is a fact that the land on the ridges of Kuruçeşme-Ortaköy, which has a full Bosphorus view, is worth several billion dollars and makes everyone's mouth water. If you ask me, the new owner is already decided, we just don't know it yet. After all, there is no more 'prime' land than this in Istanbul, or even in all of Turkey."
