FEBRUARY 2025 RENT INCREASE RATE CALCULATION

Current rent amount: 10,000 TL

Rent increase rate: 56.35%

New rent amount: 15,635 TL

For residences, the rent increase is based on the change rate according to the 12-month CPI average announced by TÜİK for the month preceding the month in which the increase will be made. The landlord has the right to make an increase equal to or lower than this rate.

For workplaces, the rent increase can be as much as the rate determined based on the contract. If the contract states that an increase will be made at the index rate announced by TÜİK, then the change rate according to the TÜİK data for the month preceding the month in which the increase will be made is calculated, and the landlord can make an increase equal to or lower than this rate.
