Foreign investors' interest in Turkish lira-denominated financial instruments accelerated significantly in the first month of the year. Recent data revealed that in the week ending January 30, foreigners purchased approximately 455 million dollars in stocks and 721.8 million dollars in bonds.

This increase shows that foreigners have been increasing their positions in the stock market for the ninth consecutive week.
