Alpet, which was acquired from Altınbaş Holding by Zeren Group in 2023, has entered a new ownership transition process. In March, an agreement was reached for the sale of 49 percent of Alpet to Mount Private Capital.
Now, Zeren Group has returned to the table with the same fund for the sale of Alpet's remaining majority shares.
ALPET'S POSITION IN TURKEY
Alpet, one of Turkey's leading fuel brands, has a wide network with more than 300 stations.
Last year, Zeren Group was on the verge of acquiring TP Petrol Dağıtım A.Ş., but the deal was canceled at the last minute. If Alpet's shares are transferred to Mount Private Capital, another major fuel brand in Turkey will have passed under foreign control.
