Applications continue for the 'Half from Us' campaign: Support amounts announced!
The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change has announced the details of the "Half from Us" campaign, which covers 39 districts of Istanbul. The details of the "Half from Us" campaign, launched for the reconstruction of earthquake-resistant housing in Istanbul, have been announced.
To apply for the "Half from Us" campaign, it is sufficient to apply to district municipalities without the need to process it through e-Devlet.
Applications regarding the process are still ongoing.
HOW MUCH SUPPORT WILL BE PROVIDED?
Within the scope of the campaign, a 700 thousand lira grant and a 700 thousand lira loan support are provided to the beneficiary for one residence. At the same time, a 100 thousand lira evacuation support is provided for moving expenses.
WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM THE CAMPAIGN?
The campaign includes risky structures located in all districts of Istanbul. However, there is a condition that the building in the new projects (excluding parking and shelters) must not exceed one and a half times the size of the old structure.
DETAILS OF THE SUPPORT ANNOUNCED
Within the scope of the campaign, a 700 thousand lira grant and a 700 thousand lira loan support are given per residence to the beneficiaries. However, for the second and other residences, the loan support goes up to 1 million 400 thousand lira. In addition, a 350 thousand lira grant and 350 thousand lira loan support are provided for workplaces.
A one-time 100 thousand lira evacuation support is also given to the beneficiaries. However, if there is a tenant in the building, the evacuation support is paid to the tenant.
In area-based transformation projects, TOKİ and Emlak Konut cooperate with the Urban Transformation Presidency to provide support for large-scale projects. In such projects, beneficiaries are offered the opportunity to pay their debts in installments with long-term and favorable conditions.
HOW WILL LOAN REPAYMENTS WORK?
Beneficiaries who benefit from the campaign begin their loan repayments two years after receiving their building permit.
No interest is applied in the first year of the loans. In the following years, interest is applied at half the rate of the CPI (TÜFE), and a maturity period of up to 10 years is provided.
According to the news in Sözcü; in transformation projects, payments are made in the following stages:
30 percent at the start of work,
30 percent when the load-bearing system is completed,
30 percent at the plastering stage,
10 percent when the occupancy permit is obtained.
