Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek has approved the new circular determining the salary upper limits for contract personnel working in the public sector. Accordingly, a 15.57 percent increase will be applied to contract workers in the second half of the year. With this increase, the highest salaries that the personnel in question will receive in the July-December 2025 period have also been clarified.
In addition, the wages to be received by contract personnel whose term of office will expire at the end of 2025 during the final days of the year have also been regulated. In this context, for the 17-day period between December 15, 2025, and December 31, 2025, payment will be made at a rate of 17/31 of the net salary and additional payment valid as of December 15.
