The Israel-Iran ceasefire has had a rapid impact on energy markets. As Brent crude oil dropped to 68 dollars, expectations for a reduction in fuel prices in Turkey have emerged.
The first step came with diesel, and now it is gasoline's turn.
IS THERE A FUEL DISCOUNT?
A major discount at the pump is expected as of Thursday, June 26.
Gasoline price will drop by 2.68 TL.
Diesel price will drop by 4.06 TL.
The reason for this discount is cited as the normalization of oil prices following the conflict.
Before the Israel-Iran tension, gasoline and diesel prices in Turkey were around 48 TL and 46 TL, respectively. However, during the 12-day conflict period, these prices rose rapidly; gasoline exceeded 55 TL and diesel exceeded 53 TL. With the ceasefire, these increases are expected to be reversed.
FIRST DISCOUNT ON DIESEL HAS ARRIVED
Following the decline in oil prices, the liter price of diesel dropped by 1.66 TL yesterday. With the new discount, the total decrease in diesel will approach 5 TL.
