The Treasury provides support to retirees whose base pension is below 12,500 TL.

However, many retirees whose base pension remains low benefit from the increases in a limited way. According to experts, raising the base pension to 15,000 TL is on the agenda for the new period.

On the other hand, salary differences based on year-end inflation rates are projected as follows:

If 42% inflation occurs, the salary difference will be 13.85%. In this case, those with a base pension below 10,979 TL may not benefit from the difference.

At 44% inflation, the salary difference is calculated as 15.45%. Those receiving a salary below 10,827 TL will not be affected.

If 46% inflation occurs, the difference will be 17.05%, and those with salaries below 10,679 TL will not be able to benefit from the raise.

RAISE RATE FOR CIVIL SERVANTS AND CIVIL SERVANT RETIREES

Salary increases for civil servants and civil servant retirees will be made according to the rates determined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Accordingly:

In the event of 42% inflation, the salary difference will be 9.71%.

At 44% inflation, the difference will rise to 11.25%.

If 46% inflation occurs, the difference will be 12.79%.

Currently, the lowest civil servant pension is at the 17,587 TL level. With a 12% raise, this salary is expected to rise to the 19,697 TL level.
