New increase in fuel prices! High price hikes coming for gasoline and diesel
Fluctuations in Brent crude oil and exchange rates will bring new price hikes to fuel, effective from January 16. Diesel prices are expected to rise by 2.34 TL, and gasoline prices by 1.56 TL. Additionally, an increase in LPG prices is also expected in the near future.

Fluctuations in Brent crude oil and exchange rates, along with tax increases, continue to be reflected in fuel prices as discounts and hikes.
According to industry sources, a hike of 2.34 TL per liter for diesel and 1.56 TL per liter for gasoline is expected to take effect from January 16. There is also an expectation that LPG (autogas) prices will be increased in the near future.
MASSIVE HIKE FOR DIESEL!
As of January 1, a 6% SCT (Special Consumption Tax) increase was reflected at the pump, and in the same week, gasoline was hiked by 1.27 TL and diesel by 1 TL again. A discount of 49 kuruş was applied to LPG on January 8.
With the hikes to be implemented on January 16, it is estimated that diesel prices will exceed 48 TL in Istanbul and Ankara, and 49 TL in Izmir, and may surpass the 50 TL threshold, particularly in eastern provinces.
