Recent volatility in exchange rates and Brent crude oil prices has brought the expectation of a hike in fuel prices in Turkey back to the agenda. There has been no change in gasoline, diesel, or LPG prices today, but industry sources state that price increases are inevitable starting from the beginning of next week.
FUEL PRICE HIKE SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED
According to the information obtained, the hikes may take place over 3 consecutive days:
Tuesday: A price hike of 1.30 TL per liter is expected for gasoline.
Wednesday: An increase of 1 TL per liter is projected for diesel.
Thursday: A price hike of 65 kuruş is planned for LPG.
These increases have come to the agenda due to the rise in Brent crude oil prices in global markets and the upward movement in exchange rates.
