CITIZENS' YEAR-END INFLATION FORECAST

In the study, participants were also asked about their year-end inflation expectations. The responses revealed that a large segment of society expects high inflation to continue:

18.1 percent: Inflation will remain below 24 percent at the end of the year

20.4 percent: Inflation will be in the 25-30 percent range

14.8 percent: Inflation will be in the 31-35 percent range

10.9 percent: Inflation will be in the 36-40 percent range

35.8 percent: Inflation will exceed 41 percent

The data showed that more than a third of society believes that inflation will exceed 41 percent by the end of the year. This reveals that, along with the loss of confidence in economic management, the public's economic expectations for the future are also weak.
