The tiered tariff to be applied to electricity bills in the new period has come to the agenda once again. Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar gave critical messages that closely concern consumers during his remarks at the 15th Turkey Energy Summit held in Istanbul.

In his speech, touching upon the decision taken by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), Bayraktar reminded that the annual subsidized consumption limit for residential subscribers has been reduced from 5,000 kilowatt-hours to 4,000 kilowatt-hours.
